ABOUT.
I’m a multi-disciplinary creator from Liverpool. I produce art through a combination of photography and screen-printing with a particular interest in work that inspires equity. Growing up in an ethnically diverse and historically deprived area of the country I have a deep understanding of the importance of inclusive arts. Place plays a central role in my work - not just as a backdrop, but as an active influence that informs how I see, interpret, and create. In this increasingly precarious climate we live in, I’m investigating the relationship between people and their lived environment; seeking joy in fractured places through the resilience and unity of the people.
My work captures lost spaces, the mundane every day, beauty within the chaos, playful camp absurdity and glimpses of faint hope in dark corners.
It is my assertion that in order for us to thrive within our communities we must be given the opportunity to explore our surroundings and engage in the political, cultural, and spiritual influences around us. Through my creative practice I reflect on the history of the area I live in and produce art that engages with our current political and social position.
